There it is, red and shiny! Your Ferrari Portofino is waiting for you, along with our expert instructor, to accompany you on an unforgettable experience. We start from Piazzale Michelangelo, the most spectacular balcony over the city, which offers superb views of the most iconic Florentine buildings: between Forte di Belvedere (left) to Santa Croce (right) soar, with their extraordinary profiles, the Cupola del Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the Bargello, the Badia Fiorentina tower. The river and its bridges (Ponte Vecchio in the center), the hills and hillocks near and far, and the frontal view of the hills of Fiesole and Settignano complete this scenery. The Viale dei Colli, so called by the Florentines, is a path that winds in a continuous succession of scenic views, among villas, parks, walls and bastions, towers and olive groves.

We go ahead. On our left we see the ramps of Monte alle Croci and the beautiful Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, with its exceptional Romanesque façade, and we face with grit the curves that lead us toward the Galluzzo locality, with its marvelous Certosa visible on our right. And here we are at last on the Strada Imprunetana, where we can let the engine roar on straights and gentle curves that alternate in an enchanting Tuscan landscape dotted with olive and cypress trees. We arrive in Impruneta, the town of cotto, a type of terracotta produced since the Middle Ages and chosen by Filippo Brunelleschi to build the magnificent Cupola of the Florence Cathedral.

We resume the route towards Florence, retracing the SP69 Imprunetana to arrive again on the Viale dei Colli. Among the trees we glimpse the unmistakable profile of Brunelleschi's Dome: we have arrived at Piazzale Michelangelo. We bid farewell to the Ferrari that accompanied us on this beautiful adventure with one last, powerful roar of the engine!
